What type of tank can you remove?
The majority of the tanks we install are plastic bunded tanks; however, we can remove plastic or steel, single-skinned, or bunded tanks. There isn’t a limit to size, as once we have removed the contaminated oil within it, we can cut the old tank up if required to remove it safely from the site.
There is oil, water, and sludge in the tank; can you still help?
Yes. At the start of decommissioning an old tank, our team will test the level of oil and/ or waste substances within the tank and transfer them into a bursar tank, with which they will come equipped. In most cases, you will need waste disposal, and our team will do this at a fully licensed site under our waste disposal license. If you have clean oil that you would like to keep, we can do this by pumping the clean oil into a bursar tank and then into the new tank.

How long will commercial tank decommissioning take?
