COMMERCIAL OIL TANK DECOMMISSIONING
AND SPECIALIST REMOVAL
If your tank is on a commercial site, you have a corporate responsibility to ensure the tank’s decommissioning and disposal are removed by a certified professional.
Our team of oil tank engineers are fully trained, certified, and licensed to carry out professional decommissioning and disposal, after which they will provide you with the appropriate paperwork to prove that you have acted responsibly.
Our experienced team has carried out thousands of jobs over the years on commercial sites, ranging from small industrial units to complex University sites with multiple large tanks. If specialist lifting, cutting, or other equipment is required, we will advise you within the quotation and ensure the job is carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.
We offer full tank and oil removal as part of any decommission project and offer a free quotation service. Please contact us for more information.
The majority of the tanks we install are plastic bunded tanks; however, we can remove plastic or steel, single-skinned, or bunded tanks. There isn’t a limit to size, as once we have removed the contaminated oil within it, we can cut the old tank up if required to remove it safely from the site.
Yes. At the start of decommissioning an old tank, our team will test the level of oil and/ or waste substances within the tank and transfer them into a bursar tank, with which they will come equipped. In most cases, you will need waste disposal, and our team will do this at a fully licensed site under our waste disposal license. If you have clean oil that you would like to keep, we can do this by pumping the clean oil into a bursar tank and then into the new tank.
Once you have contacted us through our “request a quote” form or called us on 0333 222 4037, we will supply you with a quotation for the works to include labour and waste disposal costs should they be required.
Our vast network of highly experienced OFTEC registered engineers are readily available to deal with your commercial oil tank needs. Please contact us for more information and a free quotation using the form.
Our team will come back to you very quickly to follow up on the enquiry submitted.
